A brand new website to share for King Bean Coffee Roasters. King Bean is a long time client and an expert coffee roaster. We design and developed their site to show case their expertise in the field in a dynamic way with use of strong typography and graphic images. Their coffee and other coffee essentials will be available for sale soon on the new site! Check back soon, the coffee is oh so good!

We’re excited to share this year’s Legend’s Magazine, Volume 24. It is a year long project in the making and one we are extremely proud of. This year’s book is, like always, full of beautiful photography and thoughtful writing. Congratulations to Hailey Wist, the editor, for a job well done! We are excited to share new branding work for Coastal Crust (and Coastal Craft & Cru), a unique new catering service. These restored custom trucks are outfitted to perfection and are ready to serve up delicious wood fired pizzas and craft beer & wine. We designed the logo(s) to be classic and clean knowing they would be paired with these beautiful vehicles. In addition, we designed and illustrated bold graphic elements that pair nicely with the type used in the logo(s). The FPO Awards are a judged competition organized by UnderConsideration, celebrating the best print work from around the world during 2011-12. These collection of logos are from a recent branding exercise for The Woodsfolk, a family store in Melbourne Australia. The Woodsfolk is a destination store with houseware items curated to appeal to the design conscious family. The name quickly conjured up many great ways to illustrate the fun and whimsical store. So many so, it was hard to stop! We can’t wait to share the finished brand…soon!

The new cook book we designed for Chronicle Books, Cooking in Season with The Fresh Market has finally arrived! We’re so excited to see the finished product! Cooking in Season is designed around the seasons and the practice of enjoying foods at their peak of freshness and taste. We designed the book using graphic details and patterns representative of the colors and foods from each season.  (more…)
