The South Illustrated

September 26, 2012

“The South Illustrated” 2013 calendar was designed exclusively for Garden & Gun for our sister company Sideshow Press. Each calendar page is hand pressed on our pony-sized 1926 letterpress. We illustrated each month with a drawing of a southern staple and paired it with a quote by a southern author. The monthly cards are displayed on a wood veneer mounting plaque with a leather strap for hanging. Each calendar set comes packaged in a burlap bag sewn with a letterpress tag. Home Team BBQ

September 20, 2012

We have been working with Home Team BBQ for many years now. Recently, we updated their brand that we originally designed for them back in 2006. We kept the core elements of their brand, infused some new elements and expanded their logo family. With two locations and a cult following, we designed a few more elements that they could use on everything from menus to sauce packaging to merchandise. You can see some of that new branding at work on the sauce packaging we just completed for them. Read the rest of this entry »

Mixson Bath and Racquet Club

September 12, 2012

When we heard Mixson, a new community within the Park Circle neighborhood in North Charleston, was opening a Bath and Racquet Club, we were beyond excited! Over the past several months we’ve been working with Mixson to brand and plan a launch event for this new alternative to the traditional swim and social club . The first step was to invite a group of influential Charlestonians to become the founding members. Each of the newest members will receive a hand delivered invitation to the club, complete with a printed towel and map to the property all neatly packaged with a feathered shuttlecock. Field Feast 2012

July 23, 2012

This year will be the 4th year for the Lowcountry Field Feast, an event we’ve been involved with from the very beginning. We always have so much fun working on this invitation and coming up with a new way to invite the guests each year. This year, we sourced wooden forks and spoons and parred them with garden stakes. The three utensils were rubber stamped, tied together with a tag and stuffed into a letterpressed glassine envelope. Read the rest of this entry »
