Edmund’s Oast Menu System

April 15, 2014

We created a menu system using reclaimed wooden backers and a family of white and warm toned papers. We designed the paper templates with pre-printed shells and a template system so that the menus would be flexible and easy to update by the folks at Edmund’s Oast on a daily basis. View the other projects we’ve worked on with Edmund’s Oast (naming, branding and website).

A New Look

March 21, 2014

Along with a new website and blog, we’ve recently updated our stationery package. Gold foil, letterpress, green edging and tiny details are the elements that define our new look. We are currently infusing the new look into our office. We’ve changed the door to green and covered our store front windows with tiny gold “x’s” .

Astoria to Zion

February 6, 2014

We had such a great time designing the cover of Astoria to Zion: 26 Stories of Risk and Abondon from Ecotone’s First Decade. The publisher, Lookout Books, approached us to design the cover of this anthology of short stories from some of Ecotone‘s most vital work from the past decade. It was a fun design challenge to represent 14 authors and stories all on one cover. We used icons to illustrate elements from each story and simple type to connect each of them together.

November 5, 2013

The Garden & Gun Jubilee is just around the corner and we cannot wait. It’s sure to be perfectly curated event and we were so thrilled to have the opportunity to design the poster for the first year. After many paper cuts and a sore back from placing each piece by hand, we are proud of the finished product!  See the brand development we did for the event here. And don’t forget to get your tickets here!

October 28, 2013

It was our pleasure to work with the marketing team at Mandarin Oriental in Washington D.C. on wedding collateral for potential brides. We worked with them to design a custom piece that speaks to the beauty of the venue and the custom approach they take to all of their events.

Field Feast 2013

August 26, 2013

The Lowcountry Field Feast is one of our favorite events of the year. It has also become one of our favorite projects in the studio to design. For this year’s invite, we sourced navy bandana’s and silk screened each one with the invite details as well as a few patterns and graphic elements depicting this year’s event. We can’t wait for October! View some of the past Field Feast invite designs here, here and here.
