Made-to-Measure

The mayor of Charleston, Joe Riley, Jr. created the Civic Design Center in 2001, which was renamed in 2014  as Design Division. Design Division is a division of the City of Charleston Department of Planning, Preservation and Sustainability. Design Division is the City’s in-house design studio. In addition, it is their mission to cultivate design excellence in the community and set expectations for the City’s development. As residents of Charleston and believers in design, this project was particularly rewarding to work on. It was a pleasure working with the director, Jacob Lindsey and his team on this project. We consulted on the renaming of the division, redesigned the logo and created a guideline of brand standards for their in-house department.
