Jack Erwin + Wildsam NYC Walking Map – Tribeca

November 2, 2015

Tribeca is the first of five NYC walking maps created for Wildsam in collaboration with Jack Erwin. As part of this project, we researched and developed a distinct map aesthetic and approach for this series. With points of interest and “special spots” along the way, this map is the perfect compliment for your next neighborhood walk. And to top it all off, there is a timeline and artfully done black and white illustrations throughout the piece. We’re thrilled with the outcome and can’t wait to share #2 soon!

Wildsam Travel Fellows

August 18, 2015

This summer Wildsam launched an exciting new program, Wildsam Travel Fellows.  Two travelers were sent out on two great journeys, each tapping the roots of American heritage and culture. Working from the road, the Fellows have documented their journey through a variety of mediums. Follow along their journey @wildsam #wildsamtravelfellows.

It is always a pleasure to have the opportunity to continue to expand on a brand story. We developed the Travel Fellows mark to have it’s own identity but fit seamlessly with in the brand of Wildsam.

Wildsam Detroit

July 21, 2014

“For many, the mere mention of Detroit conjures a kind of shock and awe. Newspaper headlines of bankruptcy and scandal. Visions of a city in decline, wrestling with urban blight and crippling poverty. For those able to wade through that noise, there is also the memory’s call of heyday: Berry Gordy’s Motown tunes that would become American anthems. An automotive juggernaut that turned the city into the nation’s roaring assembly line. The “Paris of the Midwest” with grand boulevards and skyscrapers and Belle Isle and street after street of stately mansions.” – wildsam.com

Wildsam Austin SXSW Promo

March 25, 2013

Wildsam will soon be releasing the second field guide for the city of Austin this spring. For the annual SXSW festival, we did a mini version of the guide for attendees to get a taste in advance for what is to come. Printed on thin stock, the promo pieces folds open to reveal excerpts and illustrations of Wildsam’s favorite dive bars, an interview with hotelier, Liz Lambert and more. Wildsam Field Guides

October 10, 2012

We’re so excited to share the new brand we designed and developed for Wildsam Field Guides, a new American travel series. Taylor and Robin were looking for a simple, bold mark that felt both timeless and current. We thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with Taylor and Robin on this project. And because Taylor is an excellent writer, well, we thought we’d let him do most of the talking: Read the rest of this entry »
